Suppliers shall comply with specifications and drawings pertaining to products ordered by us. If any doubt arises concerning these in the course of manufacturing or use, we will conduct a review.
Specifications and drawings provided by us shall be managed with due care. Do not show them to any third party without our prior permission. Specifications and drawings shall be returned to us upon request.
Make sure to assign appropriately skilled staff to the work of manufacturing products we ordered.
We may request to conduct audits or to inspect suppliers’ manufacturing facilities as necessary.
Be sure to complete work within the deadline set by us. If work is likely to extend beyond that deadline, contact us immediately.
When delivering the products to us, submit documents outlining the products (e.g., types of steel, dimensions, quantities).
Submit written analysis reports of the products ordered by us when requested.
Immediately report to us if any nonconformity is found in the products. In such cases, the supplier, our client and we shall discuss how to proceed. If the products are deemed unusable, we shall return them to the supplier and receive replacement products immediately.
If a defect arises in the product after delivery to our client, and the defect is attributable to the supplier, the supplier shall identify the root cause and we may require the supplier to compensate the client if the client demands such compensation.
Products that are delivered and pass inspection within Yamaichi Special Steel’s monthly accounting period will be entered as accounts payable, and payment will be made in accordance with the agreed terms of payment. Payment shall be made according to the agreed upon payment terms, based on the accounts payable for the products that have been delivered and have passed the inspection within our monthly deadline.
Make sure that all your employees are fully aware of the importance of complying with specifications for the products ordered by us, the dangers of using faulty products, and the risks of falsifying product test data.
